Nothing preoccupies man more than himself… He wants to know everything about his make-up, outward and inward… body and soul… Over the centuries man has tried to explain: what is man?! Yet he has never found a satisfying answer… only conflicting opinions that cancel one another out!!! So how can we find the true answer to the eternal question: what is man?! What is his true nature… what lies behind his emotions… why is man so ungrateful… why does he so easily lose hope and despair… why, when Allah blesses him, does he turn away and grow distant… and when evil touches him, he turns to long supplications…?!! The way is to listen, and to pay close attention, to what the Glorious Qur’an says… in describing man… For the Noble Qur’an… is the Glorious Word of Allah… falsehood cannot come to it from before it or behind it… So when the Qur’an describes man… it speaks the truth. " وَمَنْ أَصْدَقُ مِنَ اللَّهِ قِيلًا " “And whose words can be truer than those of Allah?” (An-Nisa’ 4:122). This book revolves around one question: what does the Qur’an say about man?! In it is an analysis of the character of every human being… which is an analysis of your own character?! All of that is written in the Book?!
