This is a book few in pages, yet rich in blessings, Allah willing… As for Al-Fatiha: he ﷺ said of it: « هِي السَّبْعُ المَثاِنِي، والقُرْآنُ العظيمُ، اَّلذِي أوِتيُتهُ » “It is the seven oft-repeated verses, and the Great Qur’an, which I have been given”!!! As for the Verse of the Throne: Muslim, Ahmad and others report that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “The greatest verse in the Qur’an is the Verse of the Throne”!!! As for the closing verses of Surat Al-Baqarah: « عن أبي ذر رضي الله عنه: أنَّ رسول الله ﷺ قال: إنَّ الله خَتمَ سُورَةَ الَبقَرَة بآَيتيْن أعْطَانِيهمَا من كنزه الذي تحْتَ العَرشِ، فَتعلَّمُوهُنَّ وعَلموهُنَّ لنِسَاءكُم وَأبَناءكُمْ فإَّنهُما صلاةٌ وقرآنٌ ودعاءٌ » Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Allah concluded Surat Al-Baqarah with two verses He gave me from His treasure beneath the Throne, so learn them and teach them to your women and children, for they are a prayer, a recitation and a supplication”!!! As for Surat Al-Ikhlas: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: «والِذِي نفِسي ِبَيِدِه ِإنها َلَتْعْدِل ُثُلَثَ القُرآِنِ» “By Him in Whose hand is my soul, it is equal to a third of the Qur’an”!!! As for the two Surahs of refuge (Al-Mu’awwidhatan): the Prophet ﷺ said: « قْد أنزَلَ الله عَليَّ آَياتٍ لْم يَر مِثُلهُّنَّ، (قُلۡ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلنَّاسِ) إلى آخِرِ السُّورَةِ، و(قُلۡ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ ٱلۡفَلَقِ) إلى آخِرِ السُّورِة » “Verses have been revealed to me the like of which have never been seen: ‘Say: I seek refuge with (Allah) the Lord of mankind’ (An-Nas 114:1) to the end of the surah, and ‘Say: I seek refuge with (Allah) the Lord of the daybreak’ (Al-Falaq 113:1) to the end of the surah”!!!
