When Allah the Exalted said… to the people of the earlier revealed religions… before Islam…
"قلْ يَا أَهْلَ الْكِتَابِ لَسْتُمْ عَلَى شَيْءٍ حَتَّى تُقِيمُوا التَّوْرَاةَ وَالْإِنْجِيلَ وَمَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْكُمْ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ"
“Say (O Muhammad ﷺ): ‘O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians)! You have nothing (as regards guidance) till you act according to the Taurat (Torah), the Injeel (Gospel), and what has (now) been sent down to you from your Lord.’” (Al-Ma’idah 5:68)…
He was alerting this Muslim nation… so that it would not fall into the same error… into which earlier nations fell…
But what happened… is that this nation… quickly fell… into the very same abyss!!!
The Qur’an came to be… recited… but not acted upon!!!
And every worshipper turned away… worshipping his Lord… with no concern… for the state of the nation!!!
So the whole nation fell… from the station… of leading the world… " كنْتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ " “You are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind” (Al ‘Imran 3:110)
to the station… of a nation lagging behind in everything!!!
the station of… (لَسْتُمْ عَلَى شَيْءٍ ) “You have nothing (as regards guidance)” (Al-Ma’idah 5:68)
In this book… are many examples… that set this out for you… in detail!!!
My aim is… for it to be a light… revealing to the heedless the truth of our condition…
to the worshippers the truth of their condition… to those who govern… the truth of their responsibilities…
and to those who have strayed… the truth of their fate… And none of this… can come to be…
unless Allah says to it… “Be”… and it is!!!
