The Life of Adam

In it… the life of Adam, the beginnings of Adam, and the trial of Adam… In it… the marvels of creation, the wonders of the beginning, and the secrets of vicegerency… Adam, peace be upon him!! In it are stations: ﴿إِنِّي جَاعِلٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ خَلِيفَةً﴾ “Verily, I am going to place (mankind) generations after generations on earth” (Al-Baqarah 2:30).. In it is the scene of honour: ﴿وَعَلَّمَ آدَمَ الْأَسْمَاءَ كُلَّهَا﴾ “And He taught Adam all the names (of everything)” (Al-Baqarah 2:31).. In it is the pain of the slip, the tear of repentance, and the mercy of acceptance: ﴿فَتَلَقَّى آدَمُ مِن رَّبِّهِ كَلِمَاتٍ فَتَابَ عَلَيْهِ﴾ “Then Adam received from his Lord Words. And his Lord pardoned him (accepted his repentance)” (Al-Baqarah 2:37).. And in it is the beginning of man’s journey on earth, between trial, guidance and return to Allah
